Martin Meader is the musical director of the Born to Sing Choirs in Joondalup (Beaumaris), Rockingham and Melville (Sing From The Heart) in Western Australia. The choirs (with an age range of between 12 & 80+) welcome all non-singers, shower singers, park singers, car singers, air guitar singers and actual singers. The choirs do not have any religious affiliations but sing songs from the heart that engender goodwill, raise self-esteem and help you lose the blues. The repertoire includes gospel, 60′s & 70′s, uplifting songs, short classical pieces and anything that moves the soul. The cost is $12.50 per session and includes music, good company and a cuppa.
ROCKINGHAM: Monday Evening: 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Gary Holland Community Centre, Kent Street, Rockingham. Approx. 30 singers.
MELVILLE Tuesdays: 11.00-1.00pm. Melville Recreation Centre, Cnr Stock Rd & Canning Highway, Melville. Approx. 40 singers.
Joondalup: Wednesday Evening: 7.00-9.00pm. Beaumaris Sports Association, Miami Beach Road, Iluka. Approx: 100 singers.
